Today I’m going to do a bit of a recap over 2018. I had some posts that crushed it and some that absolutely flopped. It was a busy few months since I started in September. In three months, I published 60 separate blog posts related to budgets, couples and money, credit card debt, and investing! Without further adieu, here are the top performing Arrest Your Debt posts of 2018.
It seems my initial hunch was right, most people need help building a budget. This was my first article on budgeting and it was well received. If you missed the original post, you can check it out here!
This post just barely beat out my budget article. Here I wrote about some common items we pay for on a monthly basis that can be cut out. See if there are things you overlooked the first time around!
These next three posts did much better than the rest. In this article, I wrote about some common and not so common habits to get out of debt. As we know, our bad habits pushed us into debt in the first place, so new healthy habits are a must!
Now this is where it gets interesting. My number 2 post received three times the amount of traffic as post number 3! It seems you all really enjoyed this article and shared it across social media. Thank you for that! I hope you were able to recognize the need to do these two things before you start paying down your debt!
And last but not least…….
Yep you guessed it! It seems that my review of Dave Ramsey’s baby steps was a real hit. It was by far the number one viewed post last year with 3,473 views! Considering it was only published on November 5th, it really took off! If you missed it the first time around, make sure you check out this post to avoid making some baby step mistakes!
As many of you know, I started my blog on September 12, 2018. I am amazed by the amount of traffic and subscribers I have on my site thus far, and I am truly humbled! I am even more excited for 2019! I have a ton of new content scheduled and even a few give-a-ways! In addition, I am exploring the possibility of offering some reasonably priced budget materials for purchase on the site. Who knows, maybe even an online course?
